I don't have a bad back....I have an evil back. Spinal stenosis, herniated and bulging discs, tons of pain. I put these shoes on, and no pain and I can WALK! My problems are so severe that I walk with a cane and even have a wheelchair for longer distances. MBT are truly a miracle shoe for me. I also have a pair of Skechers Shape Ups and they feel great too, nice and "cushy", and they definitely help me walk too, but MBTs are just a little better. GOD BLESS MBT!! And PLEASE make some dressier, "girlier" shoes so I won't look like such a dork when I'm wearing a nice silk Diane Von Furstenburg wrap dress and my MBTs! ;-D But comfort before fashion. Wow...did I just say that??? And a narrow width would be appreciated, too.

I love the physiological aspect of MBT footwear! I have a heel spur on the left foot and when I wear my MBTs, the discomfort disappears. The Ema in chocolate is pretty and extremely comfortable. The accentuating color is described as orange, but it is not a bright orange, very subdued and will look great with all colors. I plan on living in these when I babysit my five month old granddaughter next week while her parents are on vacation!

MBT shoes have changed the life of my feet! As a resident physician, I spend at least 12 hrs a day on my feet, plus 30 hour call nights. Add this my bunion, and my feet were a disaster. The pain was slowing me down...not an option for me! Originally I ordered the MBT Chapa GTX, I loved them but my dog ate them...expensive chew toy! Immediately, I bought another pair. The Fora is much more stylish. The mesh gives it much "sleeker", more tennis shoe-like look (less orthotic looking). Also it is less "bulky" and more lightweight compared to the Chapa. This shoe offers style without sacrificing any of the postural benefits of MBT sole construction. I'm too young to be saying this, but these are the only shoes that provide relief to my bunion pain. It is all about the rolling step action- explained on MBT's website and supported by medical research. Thankfully, now with the Fora I don't have to sacrifice quite as much style for comfort. Expensive, but worth every penny! Especially consider

The amazing thing about these the MBT Kisumu sandals is that every strap is adjustable. This means that no matter what kind of feet you have, you can adjust them to fit. And I mean EVERY strap. This was a great help to me. I hadn't been able to wear sandals for years. Now I can. May not seem like a big deal, but, believe me, it is. Try them. The straps are soft. The foot bed is soft and comfortable. Wearing the sandals also gives me that rolling gait and good posture that I'm come to expect from my other pair of MBT shoes. Now if I can just figure out what "Kisumu" means, I be totally happy. They run 1/2 size small, so order up.

These sneakers are wonderful. I had tremendous hip pain that nothing helped--I couldn't even sleep from the pain, sometimes. Now I use these sneakers a few times a week on the treadmill and I don't have any more hip pain. They are worth the money and really tone your legs. After almost two years, I can say it was a really good purchase for me. I have very little back pain and almost no hip pain. The only drawback is that your feet get very hot in them so its hard to wear them all day but I understand the newer ones are better ventilated.
