Not totally used to these yet. I normally wear flat loafer style shoes with orthotic inserts; Taking a bit to get used to such a large 'sole'; being taller; Feels a little goofing rolling heel to toe as I walk; Need more time to get used to them. It has been a month and I've worn them 1-2 times per week; I'll write back after a few more months. I do like that when I am 'standing' waiting somewhere, I feel a little stretch (and hence I begin to add to the stretch) on the back of my legs - that can only be good for me.

MBTs are the greatest! As a nurse, I am on my feet for 12 hours/day. I was having difficulty with back, knee, and foot pain. My coworkers urged me to try a pair. The MBTs allow me to work pain free. It takes about two seconds to get used to them, and they are worth every penny. And, the last longer than regular sneaks.

I am so so cute in these! I love these shoes! I developed plantar's fascitis a few years ago and I'm always on the lookout for comfortable shoes. I gave up elegant heels for weird and wacky flat shoes to go with weird and wacky socks. I have so much fun in these. My arch feels well supported and I don't need the orthotics I usually wear. The rolling walk that I do while wearing them helps me stand up straighter, and I have learned better balance, too. They weren't hard to get used to for me as I usually wear Earth shoes. Even though they are as tall as some platforms, there is not the tendency to twist an ankle as in platform shoes. Side-to-side movement feels secure. I very much recommend these shoes.

I was not too thrilled with the colors or the price of the shoes, but that is why I chose these since these shoes were on sale (I didn't want to waste any more money than needed). I have flat feet and I have the worst time trying to find shoes that are comfortable or having to add a bunch of inserts. All I can say is the shoes are awesome, they feel great on my feet. No sore knees or sore feet, the shoes fit great and I don't have to add inserts. When the advertisement says the shoes exercise your legs and back thats no lie. I really feel it when I go walking. The shoes are great I want to buy a second pair that are black and dressier.

love these shoes. I am on my feet on a concrete floor all day, and they definitely keep my back from getting sore. I haven't noticed any change in the shape of my legs or core strength, but I think I was already pretty strong before I got the shoes. I didn't have to get used to the MBTs shoes as the others says. I wore them all day with no problem on the first day. They are expensive before, but I have had mine for over a year, and they have no sign of wearing out

I chose the MBT Nama shoes in an effort to help reduce the pain in my lower back and the stiffness in my hips which seemed to be due to an imbalance in my step. The first week I was a little soar while my body became accustomed to having to step equally with each foot. I love the shoes and I feel they have helped me stand and walk straighter and even seem to help firm up the glutes !! I also like the look of these in particular, kinda high tech, not so much like sneakers. I wear them daily to do my errands as well as the treadmill etc. I would highly recommend !i usually need size 8 but 8.5 was a better fit.
